Elizabeth Cervantes (Co-founder)

Assistant Rehearsal Director

Originally from Mexico City, Elizabeth began her dance training at an early age at the renowned Teatro Tepeyac Academia de las Artes, where she discovered her passion for Mexican folk dance. At 15 she was accepted into the Academia de Danza de Amalia Hernández. Only a year later, she was invited to join their prestigious dance company, where she would remain for next 4 years. She continued performing throughout Mexico's most celebrated venues with different companies, including Teatro Tepeyac under the direction of Agustin de Razo, and at the famous El Fokolare. Since moving to NYC, Elizabeth has lent her experience to different dance groups, even leading her own troupe to performances at Times Square and City Hall.
